This is a fun day for children aged between 4 and 9 years old.
The three events will be a 400 metre "scoot", a 400 metre bike ride and a 150 metre run.
The entry fee is £5, Every child will receive a T-shirt and a medal and a wrist band entitling them to use a bouncy castle and other attractions. It is limited to the first 400 to apply..
Each entrant will be expected to raise sponsorship, 75% of which is for local children's hospice charity the Forget me not Trust and its RUSSELL HOUSE CHILDRENS HOSPICE.
The balance is for other charities supported by the Rotary Club of Wakefield. The five children raising the most sponsorship will receive a voucher for £100 to spend at Halfords.
