This dinner, held on 25th November 2010, was in aid of the RFL Benevolent Fund and other charities and gave those attending a chance to meet and hear interviews with stars of Engage Super League.
It was highly successful and raised in excess of £7,000. We should like to thank all the very generous people who helped make it so.

A Sportman's Dinner with stars of ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE
In aid of the RFL Benevolent Fund and other charities
It was driven forward by Nick Fozzard, now of Castleford Tigers and his father-in-law Philip Platts who is the President of the Rotary Club of Wakefield who are the organisers.
We had a memorable night with a professional compere and entertainer and raised funds for Try Assist (the RFL Benevolvent Fund), Cancer Research and other charities supported by the Rotary Club.
THE VENUE chosen is centrally located and is within walking distance of the railway and bus stations, being off Denby Dale Road by turning at the roundabout near to the JCT 600 car showroom. Map....
TICKETS cost £29.50 and included a three course roast beef dinner plus coffee. Organisers of a table of 10 will receive one free place.
