Wakefield Charity Christmas Post 2017

Michael Richmond at his Busy Corner shop with Richard EdgeTHE club's Christmas Post was in operation once again in 2017. The launch date was Saturday 25th November when special 35p charity stamps became widely available throughout Wakefield.

We are really pleased that with the continued co-operation of the Rotary Club of Ossett all of WF5 was once again be included in 2017 (including Horbury, Middlestown and Netherton) in addition to WF2 and large parts of WF4 including Calder Grove, Crigglestone, Durkar, Great Cliff, Hall Green, Notton, Painthorpe, West Bretton and Woolley BUT NOT WF1, WF3, Crofton, Flockton and Grange Moor

We could always do to have more delivery helpers between the 14th and 23rd December. If you would like to become involved please write to us via the CONTACT US button above.

Every penny of the 35p charge is being donated to charity thanks to the sponsorship of Trinity Walk Shopping and Richard Kendall Estate Agents

Employees of First Direct sorted the mail and we were helped with deliveries by staff from Barclays Bank and Arena Group. Their assistance is greatly appreciated.
